Tsukino Nami beta version

Here is my Ao no Exorcist's OC, hope you like it . I'd like to know what you think of her. English isn't my first language, my apologies if there is any grammatical error.

Story and personality

Nami lived with her parents, Suzuhara Mei and Tsukino Asashi in a little temple located in the city but it wasn’t popular, so since her childhood she used to promote her family’s service around, even in school, selling merchandise such as amulets, talking to spirits and time to time she helped her parents exorcising demons. Both of them worked on it with no title of exorcist, it was something the family had done since decades. There were always people who called them a farce, recently increasing the number, leading them to not want Nami to experience those things and send her to True Cross Academy’s Cram School so she can have the title of exorcist and live a better life than they did. Nami never wanted to sign in but she knew despite she and her parents were working hard in the temple they couldn’t get enough money and in the following years it will be worse. She really loved doing those little works for people, it was pleasant for her to know the amulets she did worked fine and the spirits she talked to rested in peace after leaving a message to their beloved ones.
She grew up helping people and it was something she liked to do but also learned not do it for free unless it is a simple problem or it is for a very precious friend. Other’s people issue always gives her a headache because she won’t ride of it until it’s perfectly solved.
Due to her job there was always a person who approached her friendly only to ask her something for free and after it was done he never showed up again. This leaned her to distrust of people and their intentions, tending to not ask for help and do everything on her own. The reserved personality she seems to have is only because she is always thinking, being the type of person who thinks before acting. Despite her distrustful nature she easily develops feelings for others and start to care for them -being the main reason to hate to get involved with others people’s issues -, especially if the person shows to be honest or help her from the heart.
She doesn’t like to admit it herself but Nami is a kind of selfish and arrogant. The main problem she may have is trying to be and to do everything perfectly, being quite critic with herself and with others.


Trivia

-Nami wanted to be a tamer to have a cute companion but couldn’t summon a thing; her second option was to be a knight.

-Time to time she still trying to summon a demon.

-Nami’s pastimes are playing horror videogames and reading manga. Her favorite manga’s genre is romance/comedy/ecchi.

-Her favorite food is Oden.
